Is EJ Relocations licensed and insured?
Yes. We're a Pennsylvania-licensed household-goods carrier with DOT and MC authority on file, and our movers carry $1M in cargo coverage. We're a real, locally-owned moving company — our own trucks, our own employed crew, not a booking platform.
How does pricing and the quote process work?
Call our office or use our quote form and tell us your move date, locations, and rough inventory. Marisol or someone from her team will follow up, usually same day, with pricing based on crew size, truck time, and distance.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Most local moves don't require a deposit to hold a date. Long-distance bookings and larger jobs may ask for a modest deposit to confirm the crew and truck — our office will tell you upfront if one applies to your move.
What's included in a standard moving quote?
A standard quote covers the crew, truck, basic furniture protection, and loading/unloading labor. Full-service packing, piano or safe handling, and storage are add-ons we'll price separately if you need them.
What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We understand plans shift. Give our office as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move your date, so Connor can reassign the crew and truck rather than leaving a gap in the schedule.
How is long-distance moving priced differently from local moves?
Long-distance jobs on routes like Boston or Charlotte are priced on inventory weight/volume and mileage rather than an hourly crew rate. We run these lanes regularly, which keeps pricing tighter than a one-off long-haul quote.
Can I book packing without a full move?
Yes. Simone's crews handle packing-only jobs as well as full-service moves where we pack and load in the same visit. Let us know what you need when you request a quote and we'll scope the right crew size.
Do you offer storage if my move-in date changes?
We offer short-term storage for situations where your move-out and move-in dates don't line up. Ask our office when you book and we'll build it into your schedule and quote.
What happens if something is damaged during my move?
Report any damage to our office as soon as possible after delivery. Claims are handled through the valuation coverage selected at booking, and our team will walk you through next steps directly.
Which areas do you actually cover?
We're based in Philadelphia and run regular routes through Camden, Cherry Hill, Upper Darby, Springfield, and Ardmore, plus long-distance lanes to Boston, Richmond, Baltimore, Columbus, and Charlotte. Outside that list, call us — we often still cover it.
